The Toffees midfielder put in another poor performance for Marco Silva and co as the Goodison Park side suffered another defeat.

A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to criticise Morgan Schneiderlin’s display as the Toffees fell to a humbling defeat in the Premier League today.

The 29-year-old was arguably one of the worst of a bad bunch in blue today as he offered very little in midfield, with far too many sideways and backwards passes, not to mention several sloppy decisions which risked playing Marco Silva’s side in danger.

In the end, Schneiderlin was replaced by Andre Gomes in the 84th minute, probably too late for the Portuguese to make an impact given Everton were a goal and a man down.

Mid-game and especially come full time, there were plenty of understandably unhappy Goodison Park faithful who made their feelings heard on social media.

Here is some of the reaction to the Frenchman’s display at Turf Moor:

Schneiderlin has been with Everton since January 2017, when he joined the Goodison Park outfit from Manchester United for a fee rising to £24million, according to BBC Sport.
