A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the draw for the fourth round of the League Cup, which has put the Toffees up against Watford at Goodison Park.

The Blues reached round four thanks to their 2-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s early brace proving enough for Marco Silva’s charges to overcome the Owls on their own turf.

The Everton manager’s former employers, meanwhile, ran out 2-1 winners over Swansea City to progress, and the fourth round tie between the two Premier League sides will take place at Goodison Park on the week commencing October 28.

The Toffees have already claimed a victory over the Hornets this season, with Bernard’s early goal separating the two when they met at Goodison Park in the Premier League back in August.

Here is what some Everton fans said on social media regarding the draw:

Everton are currently 14th in the Premier League table and will be back in action on Saturday at Goodison Park against Manchester City, Silva’s charges hoping to get a result against the champions following back-to-back league defeats.
