A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on highly rated winger Josh Bowler signing a new contract extension at Goodison Park and joining Championship side Hull City on loan for the upcoming season (official Everton website).

The 20-year-old joined the Toffees from Queens Park Rangers in the summer of 2017 and played a key role in David Unsworth’s Under-23s recording a superb Premier League 2 and Premier League Trophy double last season.

Bowler has penned a one-year extension, extending his stay at the Merseyside club until the summer of 2021, and has linked up with the side where Marco Silva began his career in English management, with Grant McCann currently at the helm of the Tigers.

The Toffees ace joins defender Ryan Tafazzoli, goalkeeper Matt Ingram and striker Tom Eaves in signing for the Humberside outfit ahead of the new Championship season, the Tigers seeking to improve on their 13th-placed finish last term.
