The Toffees academy graduate is currently away from Goodison Park on loan in Germany.

Everton academy graduate Jonjoe Kenny is impressing on loan at Schalke and has been recognised for his efforts by being nominated for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award.
The 22-year-old right-back has played every minute of Schalke’s opening three Bundesliga matches and netted his first senior goal as his loan team beat Hertha Berlin 3-0 on 31 August.
Following his goal against the German capital club, both teammate Guido Burgstaller and sporting director Jochen Schneider sang his praises (90Min), while head coach David Wagner said the Toffees man is “one of the best signings which we have made this summer” (INews).
Schalke made the announcement on their Twitter feed, urging fans to vote:
And Everton did the same with their fans as they shared Schalke’s post:
A number of Everton fans duly voted for their player and let the clubs know, singing his praises:
Since making his Everton first-team debut at the end of the 2015-16 season, Kenny has tallied up a relatively low 40 senior appearances in all competitions (Transfermarkt) and with Seamus Coleman ahead of him in the pecking order, he opted to try his luck abroad.
With how well he’s doing at Schalke and getting plaudits from fans and staff there, it certainly bodes well for his Goodison Park future, with the prospect of him coming back a more confident and developed player next summer.
