The Toffees academy graduate leaves Goodison Park without having made a first-team appearance.

A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on left-back Antonee Robinson joining Wigan Athletic on a permanent basis, as confirmed by the official Toffees website.
The 21-year-old United States defender returns to the DW Stadium, where he spent last season on loan, on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee reported by the Liverpool Echo to be in the region of £2million.
Robinson progressed through Everton’s academy after joining aged 11 and signed his first professional contract with the Toffees in July 2015, but unfortunately did not go on to make a first-team appearance for the club.
The full-back, a senior US international with seven caps to date, featured 26 times for the Latics last term despite missing four months with an ankle problem, and also spent a season on loan in the Championship with Bolton Wanderers in 2017-18.
Here is what some of the Toffees faithful on the social media platform made of Robinson’s permanent departure from Goodison Park.
Robinson joins Nikola Vlasic in leaving Everton permanently this summer, while the club have also loaned out a number of players including Sandro Ramirez, Kieran Dowell and Joao Virginia.
