Marco Silva’s Everton side have had to battle hard to keep Idrissa Gueye, but may finally lose him this summer.

Everton fans think that Marco Silva may have hinted that Idrissa Gueye is going to leave.
Gueye was speaking about the signing of Fabian Delph when he intimated that the Senegalese international’s departure from Goodison Park was possible this summer.
“I have to talk with him and show him how he is an important player for us. Let’s see what the market will say again about him and we are here to take the best decisions for us as a football club,” he said to the Liverpool Echo.
And Toffees fans think that they may finally lose Gueye now.
Everton have strengthened their midfield options this summer, with Andre Gomes and Delph arriving on permanent deals.
It would still be a blow to lose Gueye though, as he has performed an important role for the Toffees ever since he arrived.
That being said Gueye, who is on a £75,000-a-week contract (Goal), is now 29, so Everton could be cashing in on him at the right time, if they get a big fee.
As things stand, Gueye is at the African Cup of Nations with Senegal and it remains to be seen whether he will return to Everton training, with speculation rising over his future.
