Everton fans really do not want Danny Welbeck, amid rumours that he is an option for them.

The Daily Mail claim that Everton have been offered the chance to sign Welbeck, who is currently a free agent.

Marco Silva is known to be looking for a forward to strengthen his attacking line-up this summer.

However, Everton fans are not keen on the idea of bringing Welbeck to Goodison Park.

Welbeck is a free agent after his contract at Arsenal expired at the end of last season.

He could offer pace and energy to Everton’s attack, but he may not be the clinical finisher that the Toffees are looking for.

Everton have tended to bring in younger players, who they feel they can develop, so they would have to make an exception to bring in Welbeck.

Everton are also linked with Wilfried Zaha, Moise Kean and Rafael Leao in the Mail.
