Everton are said to be tracking Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy this summer.

If Everton could complete a deal to bring Jamie Vardy to Goodison Park this summer, then it would be an excellent signing for Ronald Koeman’s side.
The Daily Express have suggested that Everton could move for Vardy in the coming weeks, as the striker is open to leaving Leicester.
And Everton fans should be excited about the potential signing of Vardy.

The Toffees have generally looked towards the future in the transfer market, with many of their signings designed to come good over a number of years.
However, Vardy would be brought in to Everton to be a key player from the moment he arrived.
Vardy is 30 now, and seems to be enjoying the peak years of his career.
Although the England international’s form slowed down slightly towards the start of this season, Vardy has netted eight goals in his last 12 Premier League outings to prove he still carries a major scoring threat.

And Vardy’s arrival at Everton would have the potential to liven up their forward line.
Vardy is not only a clinical finisher, but he provides tireless work rate and aggression.
The former Fleetwood man presses from the front, and would provide a different option to anything that Koeman currently has at his disposal.
And if Everton do have the chance to sign Vardy this summer, it should be looked upon as a very exciting opportunity for the Merseyside club.
