The Toffees got the better of the Slovenian team 1-0 at Goodison Park in the first leg of the Europe League qualifying third round. Leighton Baines scored the only goal of the game in the 65th minute.
Everton manager Koeman has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the victory, with the club’s fans responding to his message on the social networking site.
The Merseyside club’s fans’ responses make for quite an interesting reading. The supporters have urged Koeman to sign more players, while also criticising the performance of 27-year-old right-back Cuco Martina.
