Everton supporters have not yet forgiven Ronald Koeman for his failings at Goodison Park.

Ronald Koeman, Manager of Everton looks on prior to the Premier League match between Everton and Arsenal at Goodison Park on October 22, 2017 in Liverpool, England.

Everton fans have responded sarcastically to Ronald Koeman’s tweet, after being announced as Holland’s new manager yesterday.

Koeman expressed his pride at being put in charge of his country’s national team.

However, Everton fans were quick to remind him of the poor job he performed at Goodison Park earlier this season.

It is fair to say that Koeman is still unpopular at Everton, with many of their struggles attributed to his time in charge.

Koeman left Everton with an unbalanced squad, and many of his summer signings failed to work out.

Sam Allardyce is currently in charge at Goodison Park, and although he sparked an initial improvement, the Toffees’ problems have hardly disappeared.

Everton have been in poor form of late, and they were beaten 5-1 by Arsenal in their last outing.

Everton are currently sat in 10th place in the Premier League table, and already look destined to finish in mid-table this term.
