Everton fans have taken to Twitter after Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed Juventus have asked about Moise Kean.

The Champions League outfit reportedly want the forward on loan as a “back-up option” – but the Toffees don’t want to let him go on a temporary deal.

The Merseysiders only signed the five-cap Italy international last summer – ironically from Juventus. However, it appears the Serie A champions are having second thoughts.

It was Marco Silva who spent an initial £29m on the striker – a deal that could yet rise to £37m, according to the Guardian.

Kean has struggled in an Everton shirt at times. Duncan Ferguson even subbed him on at Old Trafford last term only to withdraw him again minutes later in an embarrassing moment for the striker.

The 20-year-old scored just two Premier League goals in 29 outings last season but is a fantastic young talent who could be worth persevering with.

Kean was shortlisted for the prestigious Golden Boy award last year along with the likes of Erling Braut Haaland, Jadon Sancho and Matthijs de Ligt.

There’s a good chance he will become a big star in the future, despite his slow start at Goodison Park.

Here’s what some Everton fans are saying on Twitter about Romano’s report…
