Everton central midfielder Andre Gomes has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s defeat to Manchester United.
Gomes was in action for Everton during their 2-1 loss at the hands of United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
The 25-year-old central midfielder stared the game and played for the entire 90 minutes.
According to WhoScored, the Portugal international took three shots of which one was on target, had a pass accuracy of 89.1%, and took 62 touches.
Gomes, who joined Everton on loan from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, has given his reaction to the defeat to United on Twitter, with some fans of the Merseyside outfit responding to his message.
Gomes has played just twice in the Premier League for Everton so far this season, and his performances have been quite encouraging.
The Portugal international is not at his best yet, but in the coming weeks and months, the central midfielder could well establish himself as an integral figure in Marco Silva’s side.
