Everton fans have responded in numbers to Morgan Schneiderlin’s latest tweet.

The Everton midfielder impressed during Monday’s 1-0 win against Newcastle United, but was forced off shortly after Theo Walcott’s 51st minute winning goal.

Before then Schneiderlin – who despite having made an impressive start to his Toffees career has been oft criticised by the Goodison Park faithful this season – was looking be back to his best, and his recent improvement has not gone unnoticed.

Although, the timing of Schneiderlin’s return to form has aroused suspicion among some Everton supporters. Here’s what they’ve been saying on Twitter…

Everton are reported to have paid around £20 million for the former Manchester United man 15 months ago, and he still has three years left on his contract on Merseyside.

Schneiderlin, though, mat have to string together a few more performances like last night’s if he is to justify the Toffees’ outlay so far.
