Everton defender Yerry Mina started in Marco Silva’s side friendly victory last night.

Everton fans were generally impressed with Yerry Mina’s display last night, although the Colombian centre-back did not draw unanimous praise.
Everton ran out 4-0 winners over Gor Mahia in a friendly at Goodison Park last night.
Marco Silva named a relatively strong side for the non-competitive fixture, with Mina taking the opportunity to play.
Mina joined Everton in the summer, but he has barely been able to feature so far because of injury.
The powerful centre-back did come on as a late substitute against Brighton and the weekend, but Silva was keen to get him more game time last night.
And although Everton cruised through the fixture, Mina’s display earned mixed reactions.
Everton’s goals last night were scored by Ademola Lookman, Kieran Dowell Nathan Broadhead and Oumar Niasse, as they picked up a comfortable victory in front of their own supporters.
