Everton fans have praised Gerard Deulofeu’s actions at full-time, after Watford drew at Goodison Park yesterday.

Deulofeu had two spells at Everton, and was clapped on to the field last night, when he came on as a substitute.

The Spanish winger helped Watford pick up a 2-2 draw against his former side, and his actions at full-time helped him earn credit with the Goodison Park crowd.

Deulofeu gave his shirt away to an Everton supporter, who was a fan of his in the crowd.

And Everton supporters reacted by giving the skilful wide-man praise on social media website Twitter.

Deulofeu showed plenty of flashes of quality during his time at Everton, but never put his best performances together on a consistent basis.

Since moving to Watford he has often been used as an impact substitute, rather than a starter.

Everton’s draw with Watford last night has left them sitting in seventh place in the Premier League table.
