Nikola Vlasic scored his second goal for Everton against Apollon Limassol on Thursday night.

Everton fans were treated to a third successive win in Cyprus as they cruised past Apollon Limassol in the Europa League with a comfortable 3-0 win – and fans were delighted with the performance of attacker Nikola Vlasic.
The 20-year-old was given a rare start by Craig Shakespeare and Duncan Ferguson, as manager Sam Allardyce remained on Merseyside to attend a pre-booked medical appointment. It was just his seventh start in all competitions.
But the former Hajduk Split ace took his chance with aplomb, as the Toffees put the Cypriot side to the sword in what was a meaningless match in Group E of the Europa League with Everton already knocked out of the competition.

Speed machine Ademola Lookman had put Everton two to the good with a quickfire double in the first half, before Vlasic pounced on some defensive hesitancy in the second half to go through on goal and finish coolly past the goalkeeper.
Signed by Ronald Koeman in the summer for a reported fee of £10million, Vlasic is popular among the fans and had already scored in the blue of Everton back in September against the same team.
Everton fans reacted on Twitter to the tenacious attacker’s performance, with one fan stating that he “should start every game” following his display against Limassol.
