Everton faced Liverpool at Anfield in the Merseyside derby this afternoon.

Everton fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performances of Tom Davies and Oumar Niasse against Liverpool this afternoon.

Both Davies and Niasse featured for Everton in the Merseyside derby against Liverpool away from home at Anfield.

The 19-year-old central midfielder and the 27-year-old striker, though, failed to make an impact in the first 45 minutes of the Premier League game and was substituted at half time.

Davies is a very talented and promising young player, but the 19-year-old midfielder did not have a great time on the pitch against Liverpool this afternoon.

Niasse has played well on occasions this season and has scored five goals in the Premier League, but the Senegal international did not look good at all against the Reds in the first half.
