The Everton winger continues to struggle for Marco Silva’s side.

Everton fans on Twitter are tearing into Theo Walcott over his latest performance.

The Toffees beat Cardiff City 1-0 at Goodison Park on Saturday, but the three points was not enough to make any Everton players exempt from criticism.

Plenty of Marco Silva’s side under-performed against the Bluebirds, hence the narrow victory.

There were some classy performances from the likes of Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes, but there were also some poor displays.

The former Arsenal man was particularly disappointing, even though his electric pace did play a role in Everton’s winner.

Walcott, who earns £110,000 per week on Merseyside [Silly Season], only has two goals and two assists in 12 Premier League games this season.

Here is how fans of the Blues reacted to the 29-year-old’s display:

Walcott’s position in the side is seriously under threat and you have to imagine that Silva is tempted to drop him.

In fact, Everton face undefeated Liverpool in a huge Merseyside derby next week and, with Ademola Lookman dazzling off the bench again yesterday, the Portuguese boss might well swap him for Walcott.

It’s a massive game for the Toffees and a chance to show how far they have come under the former Watford boss, who will pick his best possible team, and the former Gunner might not be included.
