Everton forward Theo Walcott scored on the final day of the season for Marco Silva’s side, as Liverpool missed out on the Premier League title.

Everton fans have suggested that they have forgiven Theo Walcott, after his latest comments to the Premier League’s official website.
The £20 million striker (Telegraph) has not been Everton’s most popular player this term, as his performances have been short of the quality expected at Goodison Park.
However, the forward was in a good mood on the final day of the season, after he scored in Everton’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur.
And Walcott’s comments on Liverpool have certainly gone down well with Everton fans.
He said, with a smile: “Pleased with that [the goal], and I’m pleased to see that Manchester City have won the Premier League as well.
“So yeah, it’s a happy day.”
Everton fans took great pleasure in seeing Liverpool fail to win the Premier League.
The Reds missed out on lifting the trophy by a point to Manchester City.
Everton, meanwhile, finished the season strongly – raising expectations for next year.
Marco Silva’s men ended up finishing in eighth place in the Premier League table.
