Everton fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Theo Walcott against Wolverhampton Wanderers at home on Saturday afternoon.

Walcott featured for Everton against Wolves in the Premier League game at Goodison Park.

The 29-year-old former Arsenal forward started the game and played for 60 minutes, as the Merseyside outfit lost 3-1.

The England international was largely an anonymous figure for the Toffees and failed to make any major impact for Marco Silva’s side.

According to WhoScored, Walcott took one shot which was on target, had a pass accuracy of 78.6%, won one header and had 25 touches.

During the second half, a black cat found its way to the pitch, and some Everton fans have criticised Walcott’s performance against Wolves on Twitter by stating that the cat did more running than the 29-year-old.

Disappointing result

Wolves are a good team and their win at Goodison Park should not come as a surprise, but the way Everton failed to impose themselves on the game and could not really trouble the Wanderers consistently over the 90 minutes will be a concern.
