Sky Sports reported on Monday that Leipzig have made a new bid of £22 million for the 20-year-old winger.
The report claimed that Everton had turned down an offer of £12m from the German side for the youngster in July.
Earlier today, Sky Sports reported that Everton are looking for £28m plus add-ons in order to part company with England Under-21 international – who earns £23,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.
Lookman spent the second half of last season at Leipzig, having joined the German club on loan from Everton in the summer transfer window.
The English youngster made seven starts and four substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Leipzig during his loan spell, scoring five goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
