Everton were beaten 1-0 by Sean Dyche’s Burnley side at the weekend, with Marco Silva now coming under increasing pressure.

Everton fans have a sneaking suspicion that Sean Dyche wants the job, after he praised them following Burnley’s victory at the weekend.
Burnley beat Everton 1-0 at Turf Moor, as Marco Silva’s side disappointed once again.
Everton have finished the weekend in the relegation zone, with the pressure on the Portuguese boss.
There is a growing clamour from Everton fans for Silva to be sacked, after their poor start to the season.
But Dyche has talked up the quality of Everton’s squad.
He said to the Liverpool Echo: “Everton are a good side. A really good side.”
Some Everton fans think that Dyche now wants the job, while others just thought that he was being patronising.
Everton went into this campaign with big expectations after some sizeable investment in recent windows, but the flaws in their squad have already been exposed.
The Toffees were poor against Burnley, as they fell to a disappointing defeat.
It does not seem that there are any immediate plans to sack Silva, but the pressure is certainly building and unless results change quickly after the international break then Everton could be looking for a new manager sooner rather than later.
