Everton boss Marco Silva is said to be keen to strengthen his defence at Goodison Park this summer.

Everton fans have had a mixed reaction to links with Domagoj Vida, who is said to be of interest to Marco Silva in Turkish Football.

Vida only moved to Besiktas in January, but he reportedly hasn’t settled particularly well in January.

With Everton on the look out for new defenders, they are now said to be interested in the Croatian international.

But Toffees fans seem dubious over the rumours that Vida could move to Goodison Park this summer.

While some Everton fans think his whole-hearted style could win him fans, others are more sceptical about the rumours.

Vida is currently at the World Cup with Croatia, so Everton are likely to have to wait, if they do want the defender.

Everton do have good links with Besiktas though, after signing Cenk Tosun off them last January.

Everton have been quiet in the transfer window since Marco Silva arrived, but are expected to make additions in the coming weeks.
