Everton are reportedly keen on signing the Lille front-man.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Everton are plotting a summer swoop for Lille starlet Rafael Leao, and some Toffees fans took to Twitter in response to the speculation.
Everton will be desperate to bolster their attacking ranks this month, with Cenk Tosun having failed to establish himself at Goodison Park and Richardson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin seemingly more effective when utilised in the wide areas.
Marco Silva has underperformed in his role as Toffees boss, since taking over as manager of the Merseyside club in the summer, and if he is given one more transfer window to prove himself, he absolutely must get his recruitment right this time around.
And the signing of Leao would be a good place to start.
The 19-year-old is a real talent, and has already been likened to Kylian Mbappe.
He has scored seven goals in 19 Ligue 1 appearances for Lille so far this term, and he has demonstrated his frightening potential.
