Everton fans react to Phil Jagielka’s performance today.

Some Everton fans on Twitter believe that Phil Jagielka’s days at the club are numbered.
The veteran centre-back was given a straight red card in the first half of Everton’s 2-2 draw away to Wolverhampton Wanderers in this evening’s Premier League opener.
The 35-year-old, who turns 36 next week, lunged into a tackle on Jota and was dismissed with four minutes to go in the first half.
Marco Silva’s side were leading 1-0 at the time through Richarlison’s opener, but Ruben Neves equalised for the hosts shortly after Jagielka’s dismissal.
The former Sheffield United man has had an erratic last few seasons on Merseyside and, some fans believe that this might’ve been the final nail in his coffin.
Jagielka, who earns £50,000 per week at Goodison Park [Silly Season], cannot move to another Premier League club unless his contract was terminated, but he can join a Championship side on loan, if Silva wants to offload him.
However, the Portuguese manager would not be able to buy a replacement after the summer transfer window for England’s top-flight clubs closed on Thursday.
