Oumar Niasse scored again for Everton in Saturday’s win over Crystal Palace.

Oumar Niasse impressed for Everton on Saturday.
The 27-year-old scored one and set up another as Sam Allardyce’s side got back to winning ways by beating Crystal Palace 3-1 at Goodison Park.
In doing so, Niasse now has seven goals in eight Premier League starts for Everton this season and despite being the subject of ridicule from the fanbase at times, it’s clear that he does have a role to play.

The Senegal international, a £13.5 million signing under Roberto Martinez two years ago, hasn’t always prospered on Merseyside and spent the second half of last season on loan at Hull City.
But the fact that he is back with the Toffees and scoring goals is testament to his resolve and fans of the Goodison Park club have praised him on Twitter.

Only Wayne Rooney has scored more Everton goals than Niasse this season and it’s obvious that the Merseysiders would be worse off without the Martinez signing.
That being said, if Cenk Tosun starts scoring regularly in the Premier League then Niasse will struggle for regular football and in that scenario you wonder if he could seek a move away this summer.
Many Everton fans would be happy to see him go, but many more would be disappointed. He is very much a divisive figure, but the more he scores, the more doubters he’ll win over.
