Everton’s Nikola Vlasic scored for Croatia’s Under-21 on Tuesday.

Many of Everton’s players will be away on holiday right now, but some are still in action for the countries, with tournaments ongoing around the world.
One such tournament is the Under-21 European Championships in Italy, and Everton talent Nikola Vlasic was in action for Croatia’s Under-21’s against Romania on Tuesday evening.
Sadly, Croatia were hammered 4-1 as Romania ran them ragged throughout, but Vlasic was one player who came out with some sort of credit.
Vlasic scored a fine goal to make it 2-1 in the first half, and he showed great skill and poise in the middle of the park whilst many around him flopped.
The 21-year-old playmaker once again showcased his quality, which he did throughout last season having hit eight goals and seven assists out on loan at CSKA Moscow.
Vlasic’s agent told Championat just days ago that talks are underway about a permanent move to CSKA, and some Everton fans believe such a deal would be a mistake for the player and the Toffees.

Unhappy supporters took to Twitter to react to Vlasic’s display, suggesting that it’s ‘crazy’ that Everton are poised to let Vlasic leave, feeling it’s a bad decision to offload him
Others suggested Vlasic enjoyed a ‘boss’ performance and should be tied down to a new contract rather than sold, with a growing opinion that Everton should keep him at the club for the long haul having again showed how impressive he can be.
