One interesting rumour emerged on Saturday as Foot Mercato reported that Everton have targeted a deal for Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby.
It’s claimed that Everton have ‘expressed their interest’ in Diaby to his representatives in an attempt to tee up a summer move.
Diaby is under contract until 2025 though, meaning Everton may need to come up with a big offer to get a deal done.
Diaby, 21, has hit 10 goals and 15 assists in 42 games for Leverkusen this season, continuing to shine with his blistering pace.
Everton fans seem pretty excited about the rumour, begging the Toffees to strike a deal and not let them down in their pursuit of the former Paris Saint-Germain talent.
Some believe that Diaby is ‘absolutely rapid’ and would give Everton exactly what they need on the flanks.
