Kevin Mirallas looks set to leave Everton and join Olympiacos permanently.
Kevin Mirallas has taken to Instagram to put an end to speculation over his future by stating that there is only one club for him, and that is loan side Olympiacos – and Everton fans are happy to wave goodbye.
The 30-year-old Belgium international joined the Greek giants in the January transfer window on a season-long loan after plummeting down the pecking order at Goodison Park under Ronald Koeman and then Sam Allardyce.
He has since scored one goal in 12 games for Olympiacos, where he first moved from to join Everton in the summer of 2012. However, his future seems to be well and truly over at Everton.
Mirallas posted on his Instagram story to “stop talking about his future” and “only Olympiacos” which suggests that he is set to join the Greek outfit on a permanent basis ahead of the summer transfer window.
Despite what seems to be a farewell to parent club Everton, Toffees fans are more than happy to see the Belgian leave as fans reacted on Twitter to his latest social media outburst.
One fan described Mirallas as “not wanted”, while another labelled him as “attention seeking”.
