According to The Sun, Everton are interested in signing Arnautovic from Premier League rivals West Ham in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that new Toffees’ manager Marco Silva has the backing of football director Marcel Brands for a move for the Austria international this summer.
West Ham reportedly value the 29-year-old, who can operate as a forward or a winger, at £50 million, with the former Stoke City star earning £100,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.
The Austria international attacker was a key figure in West Ham’s successful quest to avoid the drop to the Championship this past season.
Everton fans, though, do not seem to like the idea of Arnautovic playing for the Toffees, and have overwhelmingly stated on Twitter that the Merseyside outfit should not make a move for him in the summer transfer window.
