Everton are likely to be pursuing a new manager this summer

Everton may have beaten Newcastle United 1-0 on Monday night, but manager Sam Allardyce still looks set to leave the club this summer.
The Toffees have endured a disappointing season, and despite only appointing Allardyce back in November, he already looks to be heading out of the club at the end of the season.
A number of names have been suggested for the job, with Portuguese duo Marco Silva and Paulo Fonseca both touted, but another name has entered the frame this week.
Bet Victor now have Louis van Gaal at just 6/1 for the job, with his odds crashing from 12/1 earlier this week, and the Dutchman told Ziggo last night that he may be returning to management having received an offer he can’t refuse.

The 66-year-old has been out of management since leaving Manchester United in 2016, but could be eyeing a return to the Premier League this summer.
The former Champions League winner only claimed an FA Cup during his time with United, but he remains a big-name appointment – and Everton fans think he could be Goodison Park-bound.
Everton are set to land PSV Eindhoven sporting director Marcel Brands, and fans have noted that he and Van Gaal won the Eredivisie title with AZ Alkmaar back in 2009, meaning a reunion could be appealing.
Some believe that Van Gaal would be a great appointment for Everton alongside Brands, and really think that the offer he can’t refuse has come from Everton, predicting a move to Merseyside this summer.
