Everton fans react to links with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger

Everton have been linked with a move with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

Everton fans do not appear keen on the rumours that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could be on their shortlist to replace Sam Allardyce.

Wenger looks to be heading for the exit door at Arsenal, with the fans’ turning on him.

Arsenal are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table, and their form has been worryingly poor.

Everton are also under-performing this term, with Sam Allardyce failing to spark much of an improvement since taking charge.

Everton are in 10th place in the Premier League table, and lost to Burnley in their most recent contest.

Toffees fans were heard chanting against Allardyce at Turf Moor, and it seems that the former England boss will leave in the summer.

That could provide Wenger with the opportunity to come in at Everton, but supporters do not appear to think he would be a good replacement.

Not sure how I’d feel about Arsene Wenger coming to Everton. Back in his day he was one of the best managers in Europe and managed to secure CL with a relatively poor Arsenal team on a few occassions. However, he’s 68 and it looks as if his day has long gone #EFC

Never thought id say this but im actually not fussed on Wenger being EFC manager. Honestly think he would do well for us in a consultancy type role. He can build teams, knowledge of football with the demands of business. Shame his AFC spell is going the way it is.
