Everton fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Chelsea-owned central defender Kurt Zouma’s performance against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Zouma started for Everton in the Premier League match against Brighton on Saturday afternoon and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Toffees won 3-1.

The 23-year-old central defender – who joined the Merseyside outfit on loan from Chelsea in the summer transfer window – was superb at the back and gave yet another solid display.

According to WhoScored, the France international centre-back took two shots, had a pass accuracy of 88.1%, won two headers, took 70 touches, and made two tackles and five clearances.

The win against Brighton means that Everton are very much in the running to break into the top six of the Premier League this season.
