Kieran Dowell’s Everton season is over after he signed on loan with Sheffield United.
Dowell impressed on loan at Nottingham Forest last season, and chose to fight for his place under new boss Marco Silva this time around.
He was not successful, with Dowell not selected to play a single minute in the Premier League.
He was selected for two League Cup matches before Everton were eliminated from the competition.
Last season Dowell scored 10 goals in the Championship and Sheffield United hope he can replicate that form.
Chris Wilder told Sheffield United’s website he has been tracking Dowell since the summer and is thrilled to sign the youngster.

The England under-21 internationals ultimate goal will remain to get into the Everton first team and strong performances for the Blades will help.
If he can get Marco Silva’s attention with his performances, then the Everton manager will plan for him to be part of the fold next season.
Fail and Everton could sign more competition which would block his path further.

Everton fans still have high hopes for Dowell and believe this move could give him a boost…
