Everton have sold the enigmatic Kevin Mirallas to Royal Antwerp.

The Toffees signed the Belgium international in 2012 but, despite an abundance of talent, the 31-year-old never quite made it as a success at Goodison Park.

Mirallas managed 38 goals in 186 games for Everton in all competitions, many of them beauties.

Despite losing his way on Merseyside, the former Olympiacos winger was a popular figure among many fans of the Goodison club.

Here’s how some Everton supporters reacted to his exit:

Mirallas could’ve been so much more successful than he was.

The tricky winger looked brilliant under David Moyes and Roberto Martinez, but slowly but surely began to struggle.

Loans at Olympiacos and Fiorentina in recent years more or less indicated that the writing was on the wall for him and current Everton boss Marco Silva never showed much interest in keeping him around.
