Everton landed one coup from Real Madrid over the summer as James Rodriguez joined the club in a shock move.

The Toffees used Carlo Ancelotti’s experience with Rodriguez at both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich to engineer a reunion, and the Colombian has been superb so far.

Ancelotti may now do the same again, as The Mirror report that Everton are the favourites to sign Real Madrid’s Isco in January.

The 28-year-old is allegedly available on loan with a view to buy for £18million, as he is no longer in Zinedine Zidane’s plans at Real.

Rodriguez is thought to be keen on joining forces with Isco again having played together at Real, and Isco himself fancies a move to Everton.

Isco is a sensational talent, racking up 51 goals and 54 assists in 312 appearances since a 2013 move from Malaga, and he has won four Champions Leagues with Real too.

Seeing him join Everton would be quite amazing, and Toffees fans are taking to Twitter to share their excitement at a possible move.

Fans think a move would be ‘incredible’ and ‘amazing’, urging the club to get it done whilst proclaiming that Everton are ‘massive’ thanks to Ancelotti’s influence, making moves for players like Rodriguez and Isco possible.
