Everton fans react to rumours that Idrissa Gueye will miss the next three weeks – and the visit of Liverpool next month.

It looks like Idrissa Gueye might be missing some pretty big games for Everton in the near future.
Senegal boss Aliou Cisse revealed on Wednesday that an existing muscle tear is likely to sideline the Everton midfielder for a period of around three weeks.
He said: “My squad is almost complete, but ‘Gana’ had a muscle tear when he came over. I had wanted him to be in my team, but I think he will be out for three weeks.”
The Toffees’ first two games after the international break are away to Manchester City on March 31, and then the visit of Liverpool in a Merseyside derby at Goodison Park a week later.

And here is how Everton fans reacted to the news of his injury.
It’s a major setback for Sam Allardyce’s side if it’s true. Gueye has arguably been Everton’s best and most consistent player in an otherwise dreadful season and their chances of good results against City and Liverpool are lower without him in the first XI.
Gylfi Sigurdsson, someone who has come to life since Allardyce took the reins in November, is out for the rest of the season with a knee problem, so losing Gueye will compound the Toffees’ misery on the injury front.
