Everton and Chelsea went head-to-head this weekend with Antonio Conte’s men coming out on top.

Everton took on Premier League leaders Chelsea this weekend and the Toffees were roundly beaten 3-0 courtesy of second-half goals from Pedro, Gary Cahill and Willian.
That does not tell the whole story, with Everton holding firm for over an hour and only succumbing to an impressive Pedro shot, but unfortunately for Ronald Koeman’s men, the Blues went to town thereafter.
The Dutchman made a somewhat surprising selection when he opted to start Dominic Calvert-Lewin at Goodison Park; the 20-year-old making only his 10th Everton appearance to date.
Unfortunately he was not able to add to the goal he scored against Hull City earlier in the campaign, and he was replaced by Kevin Mirallas with 18 minutes of normal-time remaining.

Everton have some very exciting young players in their ranks and Calvert-Lewin is among them. However it would be foolish to expect too much too soon, especially when he is handed a start against the champions elect.
