Monaco reportedly have the power to be able to terminate Sibide’s loan from Everton early.
And Toffees fans do not appear best pleased with suggestions that the right-back could leave.
Sidibe has played second fiddle to Seamus Coleman at Everton since joining, but could get his chance now.
Coleman is suspended for Everton’s next match, after picking up a red card against Burnley in Marco Silva’s side’s last outing.
The bulk of Sidibe football has come in the cup, where Everton have actually made good progress.
But it seems that the pressure is now on the 27-year-old defender to impress in the Premier League, if his loan at Everton is to last the expected duration.
