Everton boss Marco Silva brought Anthony Gordon on for the second half of their friendly against Wigan Athletic yesterday.

Everton fans have raved about the performance of Anthony Gordon, after he was brought on against Wigan Athletic last night.
Everton picked up a 0-0 draw with Wigan yesterday, and didn’t look particularly menacing going forward.
Despite Marco Silva lining up with an experienced squad, it was Gordon who made the most positive impact on the travelling Everton supporters.
The youngster was brought on by Silva at half-time, and he looked at home in Everton’s senior team.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder dazzled Everton fans with his showing, with the reaction to his display hugely positive.
Despite Gordon’s showing, Everton’s performance against Wigan highlighted why they are still looking to sign more attacking players this summer.
Everton need to add more cutting edge to their play, if they are to really threaten to the top six over the upcoming campaign.
The Toffees are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Werder Bremen in Germany, and Gordon will hope to be part of the travelling squad.
