Everton fans react to Andre Gomes’s performance against Cardiff today.

Andre Gomes just keeps getting better and better for Everton.
The Portugal midfielder inspired Everton to a 1-0 win over Cardiff City at Goodison Park today.
Gylfi Sigurdsson scored the winning goal, but Gomes was the man who Toffees fans were left purring over yet again.
The Barcelona-owned star – who earns £80,000 per week [Total Sportek] – started his fourth Premier League game under Marco Silva and the 25-year-old is getting increasingly better.
Gomes will return to Camp Nou in the summer when his loan expires, but quite a few Everton fans are desperate to see their club sign him up on a permanent basis.
Gomes was arguably the best player on the pitch this afternoon.
Not only was he brilliant defensively, but all of Everton’s attacks seemed to stem from his moments of magic, but can they get him in January?
As good as he has been, he has only played four games for Silva after enduring an injury-hit first couple of months in England. Is that enough time to gauge his potential? Certainly not. He absolutely seems up to par in England’s top flight so far, but more time is needed.
