Everton fans have been full of praise for Ademola Lookman in recent weeks, but the young winger came in for some criticism on Twitter this weekend.
The Toffees lost 3-2 at Millwall in a fourth-round FA Cup clash and, in truth, none of Marco Silva’s side covered themselves in much glory, it has to be said.
Lookman has been a rare bright spark in an otherwise dismal couple of months for Everton, but he wasn’t the livewire that fans know he is at The Den.
The 21-year-old’s final ball was erratic all evening during a mostly anonymous display, failing to use his electric pace to challenge many of the home defenders.
