Everton are through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after beating Tottenham Hotspur 5-4 at Goodison Park on Wednesday night.
The Toffees fell behind to Davinson Sanchez’s opener, but roared into a 3-1 lead as Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson all scored.
Erik Lamela pulled Spurs back into the game before a Sanchez equaliser, only for Richarlison to fire Everton back in front; Harry Kane took the game to extra time though as this topsy-turvy game took another twist.
Bernard ended up scoring the winner in extra time, sending Everton through to the next round after a quite bizarre night of action on Merseyside.
After a 3-3 draw at Manchester United on Saturday, Everton fans would be forgiven for being a little sick of these goal gluts, but they were buoyant after this win.
One player who earned plenty of praise was midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure, with the Frenchman turning in a tireless performance in the middle of the park.

The £20million summer signing from Watford built on his goal against United by starring last night, with Everton fans branding him a ‘machine’ and a ‘monster’.
Some branded him Everton’s best signing in years, praising him as ‘unbelievable’ and ‘absolutely brilliant’.
