Everton’s Yannick Bolasie caught the eye for his showing on Sunday.
Everton picked up a first win in five Premier League outings by beating West Ham United 2-0 at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.
The Toffees, who had drawn two and lost two of their last four outings prior to yesterday, took the lead on 50 minutes through star striker Romelu Lukaku.
The big Belgian then turned provider to set up Ross Barkley on 76 minutes as Everton made sure of the points and bounced back from a dodgy bit of form in the process.

Yannick Bolasie, a £28 million signing from Crystal Palace, looked a handful throughout, and the jet-heeled winger set up Lukaku’s opener after the break in a moment which summed up his attitude.
Such a hefty transfer fee could easily take its toll on a player, but Bolasie appears to be growing more comfortable with the expectation every week.

His work-rate has been one of the stand-out features of his early career in an Everton shirt, and the club’s supporters, for the most part, acknowledged his performance yesterday.

Bolasie has four assists this season, and he has already equalled his haul in the whole of last season. He managed eight in the 2013-14 campaign, though it was in the Championship.
One area he could improve is his goalscoring. If he is setting them up regularly then fair enough, but at £28 million, it would be handy if he could start finding the net a little more often, having netted once in 10 league outings this season.
