The 19-year-old central midfielder, who earns £1.3 million per year at the Toffees as salary according to Spotrac.com, started the match and played for 53 minutes.
The England Under-21 midfielder has started 17 matches and made 10 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Everton so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
Sam Allardyce’s side got the better of Stoke 2-1, thanks to a double from Turkey international forward Cenk Tosun.
The Toffees are now ninth in the Premier League table with 40 points from 31 matches.
