Everton defender Phil Jagielka may be making his last few appearances for the Toffees.

Everton fans have praised Seamus Coleman for his gesture to give Phil Jagielka the armband on Sunday.

Everton beat Manchester United 4-0 at Goodison Park in their last outing, and their performance was brilliant.

The Toffees players earned great praise for their performances, but Coleman is now earning credit for his decision to give Jagielka the armband too, which went unnoticed at first.

Jagielka could be entering the very last stages of his Everton career now.

The veteran centre-back still has not been offered a new deal at Goodison Park, with his current contract expiring at the end of the season.

Jagielka has only played a back-up role at Everton, and it could be that Marco Silva’s side decide to move him on at the end of the campaign.

Everton face Crystal Palace, Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur in their final three games of the season.
