Sandro was barely given a chance at Everton last season after signing, but he has been handed an opportunity to impress over pre-season.
However, the Spanish striker has failed to take the chance handed to him by Marco Silva and continued to struggle against Valencia yesterday.
Everton were beaten 3-2 in their final friendly before the competitive campaign starts, and Sandro took a great deal of criticism on board on social media website Twitter.
Sandro’s future at Goodison Park is still unsure, as Silva could look to sell him before the close of the transfer window.
The Spanish youngster came with a good reputation, but he has rarely showed any signs of fulfilling his potential at Goodison Park.
If Sandro does stick around, he looks likely to be a reserve option with Silva having plenty of other options in attack.
