Everton boss Sam Allardyce has suggested that he will oversee departures at Goodison Park in the summer.

Allardyce was interviewed on the Jim White Show, and he suggested that a number of departures could happen in the summer.
Everton have had a disappointing campaign, with a bloated squad, and Allardyce has suggested that exits are imminent.

He said: “We’ll be out in the market. It’ll be a pretty expensive and difficult market again. A clearout is perhaps too strong, but there are players who will want to leave because they haven’t played as much.”
While most Everton supporters are of the opinion that they need to sell some of their fringe players, most are hoping that Allardyce is not overseeing the sales.
The sections of Everton supporters calling for Allardyce to lose his job at the end of the season has grown louder in recent weeks.
Allardyce may have taken the Toffees away from the relegation zone since taking charge, but he has not inspired excitement at Goodison Park.
Allardyce has suggested he wants to stay on, despite the criticism he has received, but it is unclear whether Everton will look to appoint a new manager in the summer.
