Everton boss Sam Allardyce has suggested that Luke Garbutt could depart in the summer transfer window.

Everton fans are generally disappointed with Sam Allardyce’s suggestion that Luke Garbutt needs to look for a new club.
He said: “He’s had a difficult time here and, personally, Luke Garbutt’s future is elsewhere.”

Garbutt has not played for Everton’s first-team since 2015, and a series of disappointing loan spells have not helped his cause for game-time.
Garbutt has been sent out on temporary moves to the likes of Fulham and Wigan Athletic, but has never shown his top form.
The left-back has been consistently overlooked this season, despite Everton having a lack of options in the position, with Leighton Baines out injured.
However, the 24-year-old was once regarded as one of Everton’s brightest prospect – and many Toffees supporters do not appear to have given up on him.
If Garbutt is sold by Everton this summer, it appears most likely that he will make a move to a Championship side.
