Everton have been busy trying to bring players into the club this summer but have also been letting some go.
Most of those that have departed were expected and not challenged by Everton fans – but yesterday’s departure was not so welcomed.
Yesterday saw midfielder Ryan Ledson depart the club, joining Oxford United on a permanent transfer.

The 19-year-old has joined the League One side on a three-year deal and told BBC Radio Oxford of the move:
So it seems the teenager himself made the decision to leave the club as he looks to play more regular first-team football.
That being said, his progress at Everton has certainly been stunted in the past 12 months.
He was once considered a definite first-team prospect but has recently been overtaken in the pecking order by the likes of Tom Davies.
Now Ledson, who has played just once for the first-team at Everton, in 2014 against Kuban Krasnodar, has departed to further his opportunities.

But Everton fans are not pleased. They have seen the club miss out on the likes of Shkodran Mustafi and Eric Dier in the past and are not keen on Ledson being another disappointing departure.
